One night stand with felix mufti

I was working on the education team at the Royal Court when the programme of 'One Night Stands' was being put together. 

I suggested a few different comedians, artists and people I thought would be interesting to hold that space for a one off event, including Felix Mufti, and I was SO buzzin when he said he was up for it. 

We only had the day to rehearse but spent a large portion of it walking up Kings Road to buy fun things for the party bags we were making for the audience. Some of the items included temporary dinosaur tattoos and rizla papers.

We spent the hour on stage talking about Liverpool (and me bein a wool), and chatting shit about tories and terfs. We spoke about class, the industry and how we have ended up here. We both did some poetry, had a dance and he performed some songs.

It is one of my favourite memories of bein at the Royal Court. 

Shahaf Beer's design was INCREDIBLE and I think about it all the time.
