RUN

I love Stratford East so much. 

After finishing the Young Company the year previous, we all got together and asked Flo (head of participation and actual icon) if we could write our own show and put it on for 1 night. 

I can't quite believe they agreed to it, but with Denzel and Sophie's steering it and giving us so much support, it ended up being a sell out show and one of the best (and shortest!) rehearsal processes I've experienced.

This cast are actual FAM and were the first friends I made when I moved to London. 

In this show I wrote a character who was embarrassed to admit that they were living out a suitcase and didn't have a stable housing situation. This was very much me when I first met everyone so it felt quite emotional to now be in a much better place but with these same people around me.
